I fixed Marcus Belgrave’s trumpet today.
When I was done, he stuck around and told me a bunch of stories, like the time he was playing a concert in Brazil with McCoy Tyner and an orchestra of digital musicians and the power went out and all you could hear was McCoy and himself in the darkness.
I bet he has a million stories.
And now I have one too.

Freelance writer and filmmaker Joseph Johnston made his first movie at the age of 11, an industrial espionage thriller that continues to play to excited crowds in his parent’s living room every Christmas.
